📘 Kaen's Ability Guide – Understanding the Foundations of His Power

Kaen uses a single magical principle: vector repulsion, generated by condensed mana and controlled through his Inertia Core.
Even though his system is simple, it evolved to create multiple offensive forms, all based on how he shapes, directs, or compresses the vectors.

🔸 1. Direct Repulsion (Open Vectors)
A simple and instant application of vectors on the environment or enemies.
Uses vectors to push, launch, or collide.
Can be activated from any part of the body.
Used for jumps, physical boosts, blocks, and direct attacks.
Low cost, useful for close-range physical combat.

🔸 2. Vector Compression (Condensing Vectors)
The base technique for any form of projectile or condensed force.
Kaen compresses vector energy into a small point.
Can be used to generate controlled offensive forms (shots) or unstable ones (core).

🔸 3. Vector Shot
A firing technique based on partial vector compression.
Kaen creates a small unstable sphere and launches it as a projectile.
Directed and short-range, it’s a simple application of Vector Compression — a more stable but less powerful version of the principle that gives rise to the Rejection Core.
Because it’s more “pure” and simple, it doesn’t collapse internally.
Ideal for quick and evasive attacks.

🔸 4. Rejection Core
An advanced and destructive form of Vector Compression.
Instead of just compressing, Kaen accumulates multiple vectors from different directions into a single point. The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
This creates internal instability, as if the vectors are colliding with each other.
The result is an extremely powerful explosion that behaves like a vector collapse.

Key Difference:
Vector Shot compresses aligned vectors → energy flows and fires.
Rejection Core compresses opposing vectors → energy collides and explodes, rejecting everything.

🛡️ About Kaen's Defenses

This is something I’m still fine-tuning in the story. Kaen’s ability is based on repulsion, and that can end up being the limit of absolute defense: if he calculates and channels it correctly, nothing should be able to touch him.

But there are clear limitations. His defense is not automatic. It requires:
- Sufficient mana
- Efficient circulation through his body
- Coordination with the Inertia Core, which acts as the power source for activating the vectors

If in any chapter this felt automatic, it was probably a mistake in my writing or clarity. That wasn’t intentional.

1. Contact Deflection (manual defense):
Creates repulsion vectors at specific points in the environment.
Sometimes he needs to focus mana, usually through his hands (not always...)
It’s not unconscious, but it may seem automatic because he channels it quickly and often without using his hands.
Requires time and focus. If caught off guard, he might not be fast enough to activate it.

2. Absolute Rejection (360° defense):
A spherical repulsion that bursts from inside his body outward.
Triggered directly from the Inertia Core, almost like a "defensive explosion."
Consumes a lot of energy and is used when he can’t react manually.
Its purpose is to repel anything trying to touch him without needing to use "Contact Deflection."

⏳ About "Cooldowns"
What looks like a cooldown is actually a physical side effect:
Tremors, bleeding, failed magical circulation, lack of mana, etc... That can make any spellcasting or use of abilities difficult.

It’s not like an RPG. It’s his body trying to survive the extreme use of vector force.
Characters might sometimes comment on how long it takes Kaen to defend again, but those are observations, not fixed rules. If Kaen has enough mana and control, he can use Contact Deflection without exaggerated cooldowns.
