Burning with Jealousy

Chapter 6 Burning with Jealousy
A silent night and the next day.
Jiangshan went to school early. He walked to the school gate empty-handed. The director of the Academic Affairs Office was standing in front of the school gate, looking at the students pouring into the campus as if he was staring at the murderer of his father.
"You! Why don't you bring your schoolbag? Do you look like a student? Come here!" Director Xing of the Academic Affairs Office shouted coldly when he saw Jiangshan wearing a school uniform, wiping his pockets with his hands and looking leisurely and contented.
"Hello, Director!" Jiang Shan walked up politely. Just as he was about to explain, Director Xing recognized Jiang Shan at a glance.
"Jiangshan, right? Come in, come in! There were too many people blocking your view just now, so I couldn't see clearly!" Director Xing immediately put on a friendly smile, as if changing his face, and patted Jiangshan on the shoulder and said.
"Thank you, Director!" Jiang Shan smiled, bowed slightly, and walked into the campus.
This whole scene was seen by the students who were entering the campus.
"Who is this kid? Why is Xing Dabo so polite to him?"
"Who knows? Maybe his parents are officials!"
Jiang Shan calmly walked into the teaching building as if he had not heard anything. As he was going upstairs, Deng Jie ran up from behind, hugged Jiang Shan's neck fiercely, and asked excitedly: "Did you do anything good last night? Tell me! I really regret not going with you! I didn't even catch up with such a prominent event, I'm really upset!"
"Brother, please stop making sarcastic remarks!" Jiang Shan said with a laugh.
"Do you really think I don't know? We stayed up all night in the boys' dormitory yesterday, checking each other's news on our phones. You acted like a hero, but you also rushed into the bathroom and looked at our two school beauties naked! Tell me, is that right?" Deng Jie said, looking at Jiang Shan with a squint.
How could he admit such a thing? Jiang Shan quickly pushed Deng Jie's arm away and asked in surprise, "Where did the rumor come from? When I was fighting with the peeping man, he was holding a dagger in his hand. How could I have the mind to look around?"
“That’s right…” Deng Jie nodded with regret and continued, “What a good opportunity. What a pity! What a pity!”
Students from other classes passed by the door of Class 8, Grade 2 one after another, and from time to time some of them even leaned over the door to look inside.
"Jie Zi, what happened in our class today?" Jiang Shan asked in confusion, looking at the students in front of his classroom door from afar.
"What do you think? We all come here to see who the hero is who has the honor of rescuing two school beauties!" Deng Jie chuckled and spoke in a weird tone.
It became even more lively after entering the classroom. The students who were originally copying homework put down their most important work and looked at Jiangshan who had just walked in as if they didn't know him.
Jiang Shan didn't react at all. He walked to his seat as usual, sat down, tilted his head, smiled and nodded at his deskmate as a greeting.
While everyone was looking at Jiangshan, he also looked at his classmates one by one. Jiangshan only had some impression of a few of them because of their characteristics and personalities, and most of the other classmates looked familiar, but he couldn't remember their names.
For some time in the morning, a few boys came over from time to time to chat and ask for details, and Jiangshan simply answered them perfunctorily.

Jiangshan's deskmate is a quiet little girl, Wenxin. Wenxin doesn't like to talk much, and her voice is very low when she speaks.
Wen Xin was looking at Jiang Shan, who was flipping through a textbook, in surprise. She asked softly, "Why are you so quiet today?"
Jiang Shan turned around and smiled, then shook his head and said, "Was I noisy before?"
Wen Xin's cheeks turned red and she lowered her head quickly. Every time she saw her deskmate's sunny smile, her heart would beat faster and she would stutter unnaturally.
Jiangshan tilted his head and looked at Wen Xin with amusement at her shy appearance. This little girl was very shy and would shyly avoid any harmless joke.
In her past life, Wen Xin was a very considerate little girl. Even when that incident happened and her classmates ignored Jiang Shan, she would always whisper a few words to him from time to time. She would separate the earphones of her MP3 player, put one earphone in each of them with a red face, and listen to sad music... Later, Jiang Shan skipped school and gradually stopped going to school, and his contact with Wen Xin became less and less...
Damn it, this shameless guy is flirting with the class beauty again! Yang Tianli clenched his fists angrily, watching Jiangshan and Wenxin whispering to each other by the window, feeling very uncomfortable.
"Jiangshan, why didn't you hand in your English homework last night!" Yang Tianli walked straight over and stood beside Jiangshan, looking serious and condescending as he spoke to Jiangshan.
Yang Tianli was the class monitor and also the English class representative. There were many students who didn't hand in their homework to get away with it, but he just didn't like Jiangshan and would scold him from time to time.
Normally, Jiangshan would definitely get away with it by laughing, while Yang Tianli could show off his power as squad leader and scold and blame him.
"Well...something happened last night. When I came back from the police station, the classroom door was locked and I didn't take my schoolbag with me." Jiang Shan said lightly without raising his head.
"That's not an excuse! You came so early this morning, but you didn't finish your homework in time, and you still had the mind to chat and talk nonsense."
"Hmm..." Jiang Shan raised his head and nodded in response.
"When... will you make up for it? You must hand in your homework to me before the end of the next class!" Yang Tianli said passively, quickly adjusting his language.
"I have to listen carefully in class, how can I make up my homework?" Jiang Shan looked at the class monitor who was looking for trouble and asked with a slightly displeased frown.
"Listen carefully? Just you?" Yang Tianli said disdainfully.
"Are you done yet? If you're done, leave now and don't be an eyesore here!" Jiang Shan said coldly and unhappily.
"You...what's this attitude? You think you're right for not handing in your homework! Do you think you'll be satisfied only if I report your name to the teacher?"
"Hurry up! Please go quickly! Stop talking like a woman, okay?" Deng Jie, who was in front of Jiangshan, turned around and urged Yang Tianli with a sneer.
"You..." Yang Tianli was speechless for a moment, waved his sleeves and turned around and walked away quickly.
"What the hell! He's using chicken feathers as a token of authority! When have his best friends ever done their homework? Why is he picking on you? I would say he is jealous because he sees you and Wen Xin sitting at the same table! He sees you two secretly being affectionate with each other."
"What nonsense are you talking about!" Jiang Shan hurriedly stopped Deng Jie from talking nonsense, but Wen Xin glanced at Deng Jie, spat with a red face, and lowered her head pretending to read a book.
After a while, Yang Tianli returned to the classroom, raised his head, snorted coldly at Jiangshan's position, and returned to his seat triumphantly.
"The villain is getting ahead!" Deng Jie muttered in a low voice...
Jiangshan listened carefully to the whole morning class and found it not difficult to understand.
In his previous life, Jiangshan's academic performance was always above average. Although nearly ten years had passed and he had almost forgotten everything he had learned, after re-reading the textbooks, Jiangshan was secretly delighted.
It turns out that being a special forces soldier also requires learning knowledge. Jiangshan didn't feel the difficulty of what was described in the textbook at all.
Chinese has always been Jiangshan's favorite subject. When he was not on a mission in the army, he would often read all kinds of books. He read the Chinese textbooks of the first and second year of high school several times, and naturally there was no problem.
Not to mention English. As Jiangshan often goes abroad for missions, he is also quite proficient in English, French, Russian, German, and even the languages of some small countries around China.
Physics, chemistry, how can special forces who tinker with various blasting, disassembly and disaster relief tasks all day long not have a deep understanding of chemical raw materials?
Although mathematics is somewhat different and requires you to remember some fixed formulas, this aspect can only be reviewed carefully.
History and geography were less involved. After flipping through the textbooks, Jiang Shan quietly made a series of study plans for himself...
I am still a student, and learning is my first task. No matter how difficult the task is, I must do my best to complete it, and I can only succeed, not fail!
